We do NOT collect any personal information. All data is stored locally on your device using Chrome's built-in chrome.storage.local API. This means:

• Your browsing history is never recorded
• Your download patterns are not tracked
• No analytics or telemetry data is sent
• No cookies are used

Data Storage

All your data, including:

• Extension settings and preferences
• Filter configurations
• Download history (stored locally only)
• Extension state

is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to our servers or any third parties. You can clear this data at any time by:

• Clicking "Clear Data" in the extension settings
• Uninstalling the extension
• Clearing Chrome's local storage

Permissions We Request

Our extension requests these permissions to function properly:

• storage: To save your settings, filters, and preferences locally
• activeTab: To detect images on the current webpage you're viewing
• downloads: To save images to your Downloads folder
• scripting: To scan for images on web pages
• host_permissions: To work on any website you visit

How We Process Images

When you use Image Downloader – Picture:

• Image detection happens entirely within your browser
• We do NOT upload images to any server
• We do NOT modify or process images on external systems
• Downloaded images go directly to your local Downloads folder

Third-Party Services

We do not use any third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising services. The extension operates completely independently without external dependencies.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be announced through the Chrome Web Store listing.
